Think i'm done trying to compete against hackers..

Honestly I can't keep trying to go legit against obvious scripters, esp users, aim assist, god mode... I love a good pvp game as much as the next person. But I'm not some desperate loser who needs 3rd party software to win, nor finds gratification in it.

I just think your game is too over-run with people who are not getting a harsh enough punishment "obviously, by the fact they brag about how many alt accounts they can just make again with a silly slap on the wrist"-

EDIT: I'll give one more server a try on community, and see if it pans out. But otherwise literally the last 2-3 months has been searching for days without seeing a hacker at least for a session.

stay off of official servers most of them are on those servers you rarely come across ones on community servers and if you do their swiftly dealt with

I am currently on a community server. However this late at night admins aren't on. So it's pointless, it really is. Because by the time these hackers are dealt with, the damage to my time playing has been done. And they'll be on getting their 2nd account while I'm sleeping and back at it. Community, official, vanilla, modded, 3x all the way to 50x they cheat.. No matter what there's cheaters.

I definitely encourage it. And yes, it's work. It's more effort than you should have to spend to almost guarantee that you'll be getting a fair experience with the game. You get the final say over who's allowed in and you can vet people properly. Go out to other servers and if you find people you enjoy playing with, invite them to your server.

Then you can put this nonsense behind you and just play Rust. I'm sorry it has to be like this. What region are you in? If you'd like, I'd be happy to play and test plugins and make suggestions.

I just think it's truly sad, truly truly sad that this studio has such little effort towards the hackers and combating it that they're now OPENLY asking in forums which servers don't have EAC so they can use their scripting mice..

sounds like you havent found a server to settle in to. its strange you speak of hackers and i rarely ever find them and i primarily play on official server. *knocks on wood* i know there are hackers on my server but theyve never bothered my bases

The fallacy you're making here is comparable to me having never experienced hunger, despite there being world-wide famine.

My personal experience doesn't speak to the reality that a good chunk of the world's populace is impoverished and malnourished. I'm glad you personally haven't had the displeasure of dealing with cheaters, but they're rampant.

Guys there's no need to argue the point, considering there's one in the forums LITERALLY right now, I linked the damn link even to his post asking which server he can play on without EAC and getting banned for using his mouse that allows built in scripts.

The gap in your thinking is the idea that the OP needs to find "the right server to settle in", when the truth is, no server (bar some exceptions) are going to be cheater free. I've already mentioned that there are ways to make it almost certain that they won't be encountering cheaters, but it comes at a cost.

private profiles have nothing to do with it, most cheaters run a low level account, with almost no games and barely any friends...

Regardless it's pretty disturbing your solution for cheaters is just let them have the playground and not want to fight the corruption.
