Build inside tool cupboard range from outside

So i just got ffed hard because we made a nice base but people were able to get in with an attack tower by building it whitin the tool cupboards range but by standing outside of the range themselves.

Now, butthurt and the obvious fact that we could have designed better aside, doesnt anyone else think this shouldnt be possible? You place that thing so that others cant build in your area and the thing shows its range for a reason aswell doesnt it. If you can still build inside its range then whats the point of showing it at all?

ground floor and then another 2 floors higher. (i think thats 1st and 3th in america and ground and 2nd in other places)

Besides the point tough. im strictly speaking about building inside its designated range whilst standing outside of that range. SHOULD that be impossible or not (personally i think it shouldnt be possible)

Was your base built on a hill? maybbe run around the base and see what the access is.

What he means is that they gained at least 10 ft by standing on the edge and the building plan lets you place the foundation deep inside the no-go zone. It is dumb and seriously affects your cupboards range.

Build secondary TCs in a circle around the base, every weakness can be countered. This TC flaw has been around since TCs existed. Hell i dont consider my bases safe`ish until i have a 3rd cirlce around my base. Make raiders pay for every inch they have to get to you.
