How to purify "Water Jug"

I have a few of the large, blue water cans (Water Jugs) I have placed them in a cmap fire, I get nothing. I can't poor it into the "water purifier", because it doesn't dispense into the purifier, like the blue water can does...wth? AND, I can't remove a wooden door! It doesn't have a lock on it either. "Building is allowed", I use hammer, it's open, etc. How the hell is this stuff supposed to work?

It's safe to drink the water jug, water purify is used for the ocean water.

What if you fill the water jug, with ocen water...can't drink that! So, how do you purify it?

You should be able to transfer the salt water from the jug to the purifier by clicking on the jug and drag/drop the Water Droplet Icon to the purifier intake.

Haven't done it in a while so that's what I remember.

The doors sometimes get bugged - If you cannot remove the door right after placing you need to put a lock on the door and then take lock off the door then it should work.

You remove the door by opening it and holding E on it to bring the options.
