Are there any non-player enemies or mods that add this?

I was thinking of leasing a private Rust server to play with friends, and was wondering, just as the title suggests, if there are any non-player enemies in the game or any way to add them in. Thanks in advance!

yes they are adding scientists on march first which will defend the monuments but u can add them to your private server right now with a certain command i dont know it so just google. btw they are op

There are mods where you can add NPCs, but they don't offer much other than target practice really. If memory serves me right it's an Oxide mod. There are NPC scientists as My NaMe BeAnZ said, but they're not completed and don't behave properly.

squadmanager.squad_disable “false” (enables NPC squad. Replace false with true to disable.)

spawn scientist (this will spawn a single scientist.)

There are other variables, but I'll eave that up to you to search.
