My account I bought off reddit 3 months ago was hacked and banned

I bought my first and only rust account 3 months ago from someone that I thought was trusted on reddit! Upon logging in today I seen he changed my email to the steam account, traded all the new items from my inventory( That i just all recently bought) and then proceeded to get me game banned! Is there anything I can do or anyone who can help me

Look at the accounts username history.

The account has been used on Multiple scam sites that will randomly use the logins especially if unguarded, to cheat with which then starts the random delay timer. Keep in mind, Valve does not allow account sales, as that can also cause issues for both parties.

The account owner should:
-Remove all API Keys from the account
-Secure the account with a new password

Anyone not the account owner should not use the account.

You may purchase the game on an account you own, with a valid payment method or Steam Gift cards.

Note: DO NOT give your login to ANY site outside of Steam if you do not want to lose inventory items from API scams or another user cheating on the account from such sites that will test your login and cheat with it.

hah cheater is banned ! you really think the guy that sold your account is honest ? they always sell account when they cheated no matter what game ! next time buy your account from a trusted guy or better yet but it FROM STEAM INSTEAD LIKE A NORMAL PERSON.
