Short Circuit/Max depth

I am working on a prototype power generating station with backup power. I am running into a problem when I try to charge the large batteries, the power side of the battery will not give out power and say to the root combiner, "Short Circut/Max Depth" even though it worked before I flicked the switch for charging. I am running 12 Large Batteries and no I am not making them charge themselves, I have a solar and wind setup making around 2000rW and it is divided to charging when needed. If nobody can help I can simplify but the power is needed all the time with my application so it would be nice to select my power type and battery charging.
