PING spikes ONLY on Rust

Not a internet problem on my side. Only on rust no matter what server
(Tryed over 15 servers)
my ping will idle under 50 then every minute it will spike to 500-1000 ping
this only happens about 2 days out of the week its random
Yes i have rust set as high priority
i have 250mps download speed and pc its set to high priority on router

Any other games works fine FiveM Csgo Etc can play for hours no ping drops at all but i leave to go to rust and it will ping spike i always play servers that are hosted near me under 100 ping.

here are my pc specs

I9 12900k
3x32gb (96 Gb) corsair 3200mhz ram
gtx 1080
980 pro ssd gen 4 (yes rust is installed on here)
1tb wd hhd for all the other games
motherboard z690 Tuf -plus wifi (only use Lan and have new Lan Drivers
1000w evga gt psu
and i have newest bios update aswell

have over 2500 hours but at this point its unplayable with the ping spike so hopefully someone can give me some advive

Here is your answer. It's not rust.

Either your router is having trouble with a particular port that rust uses, or your ISP or hardware has issues somewhere.

yeah its not my internet if you ACTUALLY READ THE POST you would see FiveM csgo or any other game works fine for hours wifi speed test gets over always under 10 ping and 200mbps download

It obviously is a problem on your side. Game works for everyone else so there is nothing for Facepunch to do. Maybe your router? Network stuff can be difficult. Possibly some interference with firewall? AND YES, IT STILL BE A PROBLEM ON YOUR SIDE EVEN IF OTHER GAMES WORK FOR YOU. That argument is pointless. Other games lie on other servers/ips/different stuff

There is no use in posting any of this on a rust forum because most of your responders think they are the smartest people in the world on any Rust subject and will always say, its you and not Rust. They are bootlickers. Just try to figure it out on your own but, I can tell you, its just Rust, has always been.

I would agree this is not only user problem but something also server sided atleast for some people. Literally only in Rust sometimes I'm getting those weirdo spikes (so, from steady 20-30 ping, jump to like 130 and locks it right there, sometimes its gonna stay there until I restart the game and sometimes it goes away after 15-20mins, but already died bunch of times cuz of those spikes happening at the wrong time). I have never had problems with lag spikes in any other game, every single game I'm usually sitting at 20-30 ping. But it started happening with this latest update with new harbors/oil/cargo etc...

Okay, my issue is fixed with high ping only on modded servers. The problem was not my connection, it was somehow steam problem... There is one reddit post, guy suggested to clear download cache from steam and if u have to change steam region, literally worked and every modded EU server is not staying well below 50... Idk why ping on official servers were normal tho.

Edit: nop, still not fixed, it just took a bit longer to come back.. ping was normal at first and then suddenly got "locked" at over 130...
