"Couldn't Download Level/ Failed to Receive Data"

Lately I haven't been able to join most custom servers, like Sandbox servers and such. Whenever I try to join, I download everything, only to be given said message. I've looked everywhere online and nothing has come up at all. If you've fixed this issue please help.

If i were you i would invest in an SSD, also try turning your settings to minimal before trying to load into a game. Also put your draw distance all the way down. By doing this your game will download faster because it is not trying to process as much all at one time.

are you joining a custom server thats yours or that someone else made?

I dont know if it will work for all you guys, but this is how I fixed it.

Just go to rust folder (located in steamapps ) and delete content of temp folder.

doesnt help on wipe day because I have to do the 6h queue 2x

tried a lot but got success once with that issue
my pc connected to internet with usb adapter so the problem has insta solved when i just put adapter in another usb slot on motherboard
