They are not hackers, they are cheaters with no skill.

Steam and facepunch could be doing much more to protect the legit players. The largest issue I see is the ease of getting a new steam account or a hacked steam account. Make it hard for the cheaters to come back on alt accounts.

This is exactly the problem. Ill be honest, idk how to fix it, but this is exactly what NEEDS fixed.

It's always good to see in chat "xxx is banned for cheating" - so out of all of the games I have played, Rust is probably the one that may be doing the most. However, as the cheaters begin to increase and devs take their eye off the ball, it'll rapidly go down the same lane as PUBG. Population will leave, and leave mainly the cheaters in their game - company trust destroyed and players will remember Facepunch as one to stay away from.

Hopefully FP takes the opportunity to be aggressive and ruthless with the cheats and keeps the trust of their honest player base......As soon as that is gone, you never get it back.....

alot of people you think are hacking are just really good and know there sprays. not saying all of them there are defenitly alot of hackers but dont pretend that apart of it is you just not being as good as someone who spends 10 hours a day aim training
