anyone managed to kill a shark yet?

i usually enjoy early game underwaterlooting, but well - since sharks are out, it is pretty much impossible. they can kill u in 2 shots, the underwater spear thingy is a joke - and they are fast and hard to see with this new crap vision.

anyone managed to kill one yet?

whats server is it so I dont join it . dont want to join servers that hate survival mechanics . imagine thinking killing a shark is easy

as far as i can tell, the problem is not the survial aspect, but the power of the mob. hit one with the spear thingy, it directly attacks me - not running away like other animals - and eats 55 pct of my health - me being in best possible armor for diving. second attack, i am dead, nm what. the spear thingy does next to no damage, it seems.

the sharks - and there are plenty from what i can tell - kill effectivly underwater looting, because u have only the crap spear thingy as a weapon. and underwaterlooting was a nice change from getting constantly zerged if u play solo.

other animals take more than one hit to make them run away . its still a survival thing . its really horrible that they gave you all a tech tree cause rust was too hard now youre upset animals got harder and you think diving with sharks should be easy . I mean there is a submarine for a reason . risk vs reward but yall hate that kinda stufff. just join no bp servers then so you dont have to work for anything . god forbid..maybe dive with a friend...but i mean yall said being solo was too hard and they gave you a tech tree.

dude, i play pretty much exklusivly solo - no idea, what you project into me, u seem to have some issues.

i am adressing what i think is a problem: if u have no way to kill the sharks underwater - and thats what it seems to me, because facepunch gave us a spear thingy to fight them - they take away a part from the game. thats all i am saying.

maybe i am wrong and had just bad luck though,

if you get into a lab before they get you, also they're not around oil rigs you can gun bow even rpg em

never been fully in the water to kill one but i have seen a flying one, it killed some mini helis :D
