Well, since you're posting on the Rust forum I'm assuming it's so you can play Rust.

Go above this:

MINIMUM:
Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
OS: Windows 8.1 64bit
Processor: Intel Core i7-3770 / AMD FX-9590 or better
Memory: 10 GB RAM
Graphics: GTX 670 2GB / AMD R9 280 better
DirectX: Version 11
Network: Broadband Internet connection
Storage: 20 GB available space
Additional Notes: SSD is highly recommended or expect longer than average load times.

And ideally close to, or above this:

RECOMMENDED:
Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
OS: Windows 10 64bit
Processor: Intel Core i7-4790K / AMD Ryzen 5 1600
Memory: 16 GB RAM
Graphics: GTX 980 / AMD R9 Fury
DirectX: Version 12
Network: Broadband Internet connection
Storage: 20 GB available space
Additional Notes: SSD is highly recommended.

never build a pc just to play one game never a good idea and it very a bad time to build a pc right now everything is way more expensive then it should be good exemple are GPU price my 1660 super cost me 300$ and now it double the price on the net.

You can still get some of the most recent intel and amd cpus and motherboards but yeah for GPUs good luck. But for 1080p most cards will do just fine. I would recommend if you could get a 1660 super or better card if you can find it close to msrp. Cpu i would recommend you to go with AMD since they are better for price and upgrading. For example my Z390 mobo can only support 8th and 9th gen chips and i already have a 9900k so im SOL hahaha. But AMD you can slap any chip from this generation (Not the FX chips) into the motherboard. Try to go with the 2700x or something with 8+ cores. Most people disagree with me but 6 cores just isnt enough to be playing the newest games anymore sadly.

i got a ryzen 3 3100 for now and i got no problem but if i was him i would wait to build a new pc that why i got this budget build right now and i didnt build it i bought it from a tech shop and they have provider to get pc part and build one for you but they get the msrp price etc.

Most people disagree with you because most software does not take advantage of all 8 cores. It all depends on how the software is programmed.

If it's a difference of $20 you might as well pick up an 8 core instead of a 6 core processor if it's the same type/speed. Eventually more and more software will take advantage of all cores, but it really doesn't matter much as long as you've got something decent under the hood. A high end 6 core processor will perform better than a low end 8 core every single time so you can't just look at how many cores a CPU has.

Note: While loading RUST seems to use about an even amount of my CPU per core on my FX 8350 8 core, and it's the same when playing. When loaded RUST is taking up over 14 gig of RAM on my system so I'd say go for at least 16 gig if you do build a new PC, probably better off just going for 24 to 32 depending on pricing, motherboard, etc.

a good expemble are mmo like eso 2 core are close to 100% usage and all other very low usage so you still get very poor performance even with a powerfulls i9 9900k or even the most expensive new intel cpu or new ryzen it sad but it the truth.
