computer overheating when playing rust
whenever I play rust, the fps always stays above 60 on most settings and I very rarely lag. However, no matter the settings, my computer will eventually (usually 10-20 minutes after it starts running) will start to get really warm and the fans go crazy. I know rust is a hard game to run but this didn't used to happen in the past (months ago, not sure if the change was triggered by a patch but I guess it must've). I'd have more lag but my computer wouldn't be going crazy. Is there anyway to fix this? or should I stop playing completely till more optimization fixes come?

Specs:
RX 580
i5-7400
8gb ram (i know, it's low lol)
1tb 860 Evo SSD

i suggest this even though its not really needed its mostly overkill get you a Corsair H55 AIO water cooler for your CPU and i would invest in some new fans and make sure they are all facing the right way

What temperatures are being reported for the CPU/Mobo/GPU?
You can use CPUID's HWMonitor program, that CPU is only rated for 100C per intel, but you should generally not exceed 55C with 70C and above being overheating on basically any CPU.

Also AT4 Legendz's recommendation of H55 is very solid, it's an amazing and affordable for a CPU cooler.

Edit: Yeah, get another 8GB as well, else you'll read/write to the SSD a large amount of data.
