For a second there I thought from the title it was a SAM behind a garage door with an opener circuit.
Done that before not a good idea unless you like buying a new SAM all the time. ^^

Nice video hit me up if your look for more ideas. I'm an electrical enthusiast myself.

No, I often dont use laser tripwires enough, I use the HBHF sensor when needed.
Automation is nice though, I use it for boat houses more.

Yeah they are pretty cool

Only trouble is anyone can turn it off if the get in the room.
You should do a video how to secure throw switches and sensors.
Just feed the names throw switch/sensor on input A and a HBHF sensor on input B of an AND Switch - that will stop access to that control device by unauthorized people.

Yeah you could us the HBHF sensor, might do a quick vid on that.
