Rust
I know why people hate XQC
He is the biggest streamer which streams pure gaming content.
No drama, no heavy personal opinions, no attempt to be a cult leader, like lets say Asmongold.
Drama queen streamers can't have that, for some reason.

XQC is probably responsible for over 50% of the new players current wave to Rust.

XQC and "no drama." Ha ha! He is fun to watch, great at games, and I love that he's brought so much attention to Rust...but he has been the center of so much drama over the years! That is part of his appeal and he definitely stirs up trouble for effect/publicity/clicks/etc. just like everyone else whose job depends on effect/publicity/clicks/etc.

@Ox23 There's been a lot of interest in xQc within the Rust community lately, as he's brought a lot of people to the game. Just like literally anything and everyone on earth, some people care and some people don't.

Every clip ive seen of him has been him crying or raging over a game. Seems pretty childish

Yeah, I'm sure it's because of a single streamer most people haven't heard about and not a year of great updates, people having the available time to play this huge timesink of a game due to the pandemic, and so on.

This. This is the only thing I've heard about this person, them being petty, vindictive and tilted.

Didn't XQC get ban from Twitch for bit for stream-sniping at a charity event of all things?

You know, that no drama?

Also his followers are probbly some of the most toxic going around chat.

Honestly though I did enjoy him in Rust he fits the game.

Exactly what you said.
He has been the center of drama.
But he is not doing it.
He is just playing his game, doing his thing.
People were ♥♥♥♥ talking about him for days and his reaction comments were for like 10 seconds for each case he commented, mostly bc of chat pressing him to react.

@gamingdude You may want to Google "xQc controversy." In the Overwatch community, he is known for throwing, being banned from the professional league for hate speech, getting temp-banned mid-competitive match for spamming fake reports because team mates played heroes he didn't like, and consistent trolling/toxicity. He is permanently banned from League of Legends for extreme toxicity in chat...and that is League of Legends, which is renowned for its toxic chat. That's kind of his thing and his fans love it.

I'm not much in to CIA level of background checking and honestly I don't care.
I learned about him during the Rust streaming on twitch, by streamers I follow when they were talking ♥♥♥♥ about him.
So I followed him and watched his streaming, and there was literally nothing wrong with his gameplay, on the contrary it was the most focused on gaming, organizing and you know, actually playing the game.
I honestly haven't enjoyed more a pure gaming streaming for a while now.

Oh that's what you meant about him not making drama in Rust.
Yes I think he was a good contribution to the events in the sever and added to the fun he even role played with community.

But his followers did go around making threats on other streamers channels which was not needed.

Actually, League has done a whole lot to address that issue. They are very free with chat and account bans these days for those exact reasons.
