Hacked by Russians then Game Ban Rust

hello, I allow myself to contact you because my Steam account had been hacked several times by a ".ru" email address I think they were Russians I still managed to recover my account by proving that it was mine and thank you again for that. During this hack I received a message telling me that I was cheating on my favorite game Rust even though it had been 2 weeks since I had played it anymore and I can assure you I was not cheating. I think these people must have cheated on this game. I had already contacted you but you had said that it is not you who manage the bans, so I contacted Easy-Anti Cheat several times but no response then I turned to Facepunch Studio they said I was responsible for my account, which I want to understand. Today I turn to you, because in my opinion Steam is clearly not secure enough I do not understand how I could have been hacked, I also noticed that my account was not the only one to be fell into it so I think it is not for me to take care of this problem but for you who overnight threw € 33.99 out of the window because the account is not secure enough. Today I still can't play Rust again. I would like to play it again as soon as possible.

If you have been hacked "multiple times," you are doing something wrong. Enable 2-factor authentication, do not log into gambling or third party sites (even ones that look exactly like Steam-always log in from the Steam app), and do not share your information with anyone.

If you have a game ban on Rust, you cannot connect to a Rust server, even if you have access to the account. I would bet that 99% of people who get game bans claim they were hacked. You can appeal game bans through EAC if you think a ban was an error, but a hacked account is not valid grounds for an appeal.

Nice try dude, just pay for the game again and continue to hack on another account till you get banned again. It's the penalty for being bad at games.

I'm so sick of hearing "hacked by Russians" man, it was somewhat funny to hear in 2016 but can we blame some other entity of anything besides hacking? Like geez you sound just as bad as the left; pro tip either don't cheat or start coughing up 100+ a month for them like a normal Rust player would.

Wow, just absolutely wow. So what you're saying boils down to some Russian hacker seized control of your steam account just to hack in rust, seems like a load of ♥♥♥♥, or a Russian with nothing better to do.

It's time to take things to the next level. A federal agency to deal with ALL hackers. I think we should handle em mafia style. So once they are caught hacking the first time let's put a meat tenderizer to their hands and if they are caught a second time the meat tenderizer to their knees before putting a bone saw to their fingers. No, a bone saw would be too good for them, it's supposed to be punishment. How about a manual wood saw or a hack saw? Oh, the agony. Punishing hackers should be fun

These guys arent getting "hacked". They are getting tricked into putting their steam info into shady websites. 100% avoidable.
