Does PvE work in this game? Is it any good?

I get rust is generally a PvP game, but I've read about PvE servers, are they any good?


I never really got into rust, and now I'm too busy IRL to conistently play it. I do enjoy PvE, gathering and making bases though, so is that possible on Rust? I know taking out the PvP element of it kinda ruins the point of the game but PvE generally is my kinda playstyle now. Is that a good option?

PvE is very boring and dull, you can barely find animals in pvp so good luck in pve, PvP is fun because you can raid bases and get fast loot.

Pve servers are not for playing the game. It is for understanding the looting mechanics, practice about the game factors, learning how to loot, learning how a useful base is have to be without getting into the chaos gameplay. But it is not necessary to play in this type of servers.

That was partially my plan, to use it to get used to the game and building mechanics without having to worry about constantly getting shot up. That being said, I also do enjoy PvE as a whole.

Rust is a bad option for PvE - even on PvE named servers. You best get into something like Conan Exiles or some other game that actually supports true PvE.
