Why does Rust have the most racist, toxic group of players?

Literally every server you join there is always an abundance of racist, toxic children. Why is this? Why does this game have such a horrific group of players? Honestly IMO this is a disgrace to the gaming community as whole. I truly enjoy the game its just hard to continue playing when there is constant slander being thrown in global chat AND in voice chat. Every player like myself has to suffer through wipes being harassed and just annoyed with the way a vast majority of these players. It's disgusting to say the least. I've constantly been hearing from veterans of the game the community was so much better five years ago before all this toxic behavior came into the game, and I hope someday we can get back to that. ADDED FOR YOU KIDS READING THIS ---> if I ever heard my children speak the way some of you do in this game, they sure wouldn't be using the PC I'll tell you that right now.

thanks for all the words yall to answer a couple questions ive been bouncing around multiple servers such as Rustiopia, Rustafied, Rusty Moose, Reddit a couple monthly servers and some random solo servers. I guess I shouldnt have said ALL are like this but a very large percentage seem to be this way and thats why ive been bouncing around so much looking for a good one. Im not looking for PvE exclusively because I do really enjoy pvp its just so toxic and awful its hard to get into it. Also, thanks for the server recs!

Also make sure to favorite servers that have active admins and aren't totally catering to only try hards and PVP elitists. Even if you prefer PVP it is just healthier that way.

And preferably stay away from those dumb servers that are over 3X loot, usually a responsible admin won't make the farms crazy fast. That just leads to super short wipe cycles being necessary... which IMO is trash.
