Rust steam load error?

To fix it you have to exit steam fully and right open steam again and then open rust. It worked for me. *Pin steam to taskbar*

Steam load error - is steam open?
please exit and try again with steam open.

help me plz and btw some of my friends are playing rust atm

try restarting your pc, that worked for me!

same i have been trying for 20 min doing so many things but it hasn't worked if someone can help that would be great

I reinstalled steam and that worked

what i did was restart my computer and just waited a little bit i went and had dinner then it was good so just wait a little while i guess im not too sure

Yes it it happening to to I've done everything and I've waited 2 weeks still not working for me. and if i reinstall steam will it get rid of my 400 hours I've played

i got that problem ive unistalled rust reinstalled it ive restarted my pc multiple times ive verified integrity nothing helps

dI dont know if what type of computer you have matters. but i have a mac are u all using a mac and mabey its because we use macs but i dont know. please help im really mad that i cant play.
