Do servers have to map wipe every monthly thursday?

So for servers with bi weekly wipes, its impossible to wipe on the first thursday monthly every time because some months have 31 days giving the wipe schedule an extra week if the server wants to stay in sync wiping on the update so is it possible if the server continues without wiping even on a thursday update?

Urmmm, why would a server wipe twice a week, seems a lot, or perhaps you mean twice a month in which case simply wipe every other Thursday.

@Pumpkin Yes bi weekly typically means once every 2 weeks thats what i meant bi-weekly. My point is if a server wipes every other thursday it will eventually be out of sync with the first thursday of a month. For example a server starts its wipe on the 5th september, next wipe is 19th then the 3rd october (First Thursday), then the 17th then the 31st October but it will miss the first thursday of november because that would only be a week. So how does that work lmao?

LOL, you asked how does that work, he answered, he means the same as me, It cannot be 'out of sync' because you are going every 7 days from a Thursday and the last time I checked EVERY Thursday is EXACTLY 7 days from the next or previous one, NOT like calendar days that use varying numbers, think about it now for a second.

sadly yes it would screw over bi weekly servers but the owner could make a final week of just pure map all bps unlocked

Surely it's more complicated to count the exact days every month and divide by 2 and then have your wipes at different times than to wipe every other Thursday?

Not usually, only on the times FP require a wipe for the update, and then I wouldn't add a week, i'd take one off and restart from the forced wipe should there be one.

No i would have to add one reducing one would be much too short

the reason the servers have to be wiped so often is because of garbage collection. if they found a way to better optimize the cache of the game engine, we could potentially see servers that never wipe or potentially maybe 1 time a month, rather than with every update.
