HELP! Can't move after interacting.

For example... I eat something... I unlock or lock a door... I open or close a door... after doing most of these things 9 times out of 10 all my movement stops. I can look around, I can do EVERYTHING except move around. A simple fix is to just click when stuck, but I don't want to have to click EVERY SINGLE TIME this happens because it just happens so regularly (everytime I interact with something) and it could cause problems if I am in a rush or in combat... and also IT IS SO ANNOYING.
