Rust
Best solution for using a PS4 controller with Rust?
Keyboard and mouse is by far better, I agree but after 8 hours at work sat at a desk coming home to sit at another desk for x amount of hours can be tiresom.

I know Rust plan to add controller support but right now what is the best solution?

ThAnks!

Installed and running, the only thing that is working on Rust is the touch pad on the PS4 controller to look around.

Is there a profile available for Rust? Or do I have to set one up manually?

Hey, I know Steam supports many controllers via Big Picture. I have a PS4, and therefore a PS4 controller, and I just had a little look around on Steam Big Picture and there are many Rust configurations for the PS4 controller.

Let me know if you need steps to getting the controller setup. Cheers.

Does Rust w/ a PS4 controller work well? I'm thinking of buying it but i am unable to play w/ a keyboard and mouse ... so I need to know for sure. :D thnx

Library Right click on Rust Properties.
Controller then set it to Enable Steam Input.
Then go back to Library right click on Rust Manage Controller configuration.
Browse configs. (At this point use your controller to set it up)
Community.
Then pick the one that has the most likes and then customise it to your liking.
In game you may have to adjust mouse speed.

This works with most Steam games.
