Rust
Should i buy rust?
Hey guys, wanted to ask you guys that is Rust worth buying if you are a solo player and you dont have any experience in game or how things work
I love survival games but i think rust will be too harsh on me as i will keep getting rekt in game
In youtube videos Rust seems pretty good but what is the reality for newbie players?

Yes, it has worth no matter skill level or how you want to play. Reason being there are many servers that cater to how ever you want to play. \

If going solo, do not go to full population server at first. Without experience it is just death. Goto low pop server or server PVE to learn and then think about playing harder servers.

Good luck
yes but if u cheap wait for a sale

I started as a solo, I had fun for months, then I met some nice people and we ended up playing together for years, and that was a lot of fun. This wipe I tried solo again, and I was lucky to not get raided. What I like about this game is that every month there's something that makes the experience diferent.

There are PVE modded servers for solo players to learn on. There are also solo only PVP servers. Is it worth the money for a solo player? Yes.

This game is actually pretty chill , many server and many modded server aswell
If you plan on playing seriously this game , you'll have to farm ressources to avoid your bases getting destroyed by time.
The bigger the bases is , the more ressources you'll need.
You basicly have a month to learn as much DIY as you can , create your bases before the server wipe everything (You can't avoid the wipes) and go back to the beginning.
Playing solo is fun , playing with someone is better.
You can quickly end in a 12v1 situations or getting raid really quick without being able to do much.
Even tho this might seems scary after reading this , making friends is not that hard , even tho this community might be really toxic sometimes.
Hope this will help you in your choice of buying the game (or not). :lunar2019piginablanket:

I think this is a good time to buy it. It's finally getting the balance patches that people have been wanting for a while and this wipe we get to see how effective they are altogether. No cheesing puzzles with helis, helis in general are harder to get(although not sure if that's a good thing. Don't know yet). The early game might actually be extended.

played its for 100 hours in 2 weeks first week of purchase - probably twice the age of the average player out there, i found that if you look around there are some newb friendly servers and communities with some great players who will teach you how to play there is also an abundance of youtube videos and servers that cater to helping you get started (pve servers, aim training , sandbox building) So you don't have to throw yourself into a fresh wipe high pop server straight away you can learn the ropes etc and even if you did go onto a server yes you may die and lose base but don't get upset or rage as that's just how rust works, learn from it and improve :)

EDIT: i've only played 150~~ hours currently as of writing this post .
