100% gpu usage *Problem*

i've done everything i can think of to fix the problem, but no matter the server and graphics settings im receiving 100% gpu usage, and only for Rust. Not sure if anyone else is having this problem or has solutions.

It's normal for a GPU to be at 100% usage, so long as your fan isn't at 100% too!! that's when you have to be concerned.

as AR said 100% gpu usage is normal. if you were getting anything less it would mean either your gfx card is running the game too well if thats possible, or you are playing an old game. If you were having a 100% harddrive issue then there might be a problem, but seems to me like your computer is just using its allotted resources fully.

It just happened to me as well. Every other game runs perfectly, no lag. Rust started acting like this for like a week now. Using 100% GPU non stop and in game feels like I have 15fps.

I am having the same problem right now, it started when I got my second monitor

I have tried everything - reinstall game, reinstall steam, reinstall drivers, format disc, reinstall windows, but nothing helped. Looks like they have updated something that was not compatible with the gpu. As for me it actually hapened after one of the rust updates. So i think you guys who are having same problem are a little bit ♥♥♥♥♥♥. I have changed computer and rust have no problems now
