EAC BANNED BUT I DIDN´T CHEAT

hello everyone ,yesterday entering a community server before finishing the loading screen I got a message that I had been banned for using cheats, and to be honest, never in my life did I download a third-party program that benefits me, the only thing I have installed is the vibrancegui program that uploads the digital vibrance of the video card, which does not benefit me at all in the gameplay. I already sent a request to support but they still insist that my account has cheats. Can someone help me?

It can be used to make night time brighter, which gives you an advantage over people who don't use it. Ban sounds justified, you used a third party app to gain an advantage in gameplay (even if you claim you weren't using it that way).

vibrancegui increases brightness, giving an advantage

But that program the only thing it does is change the gamma of the monitor, you can change it directly from the nvidia application (which is my video card) the program only facilitates not having the gamma active all the time, currently I use it to the league of legends the counter strike and I never had problems. Also on rust nights I could never see anything only on nights that are full moon you can see something but I had no gameplay advantage

it still recognzies it as a third party program, no matter if it beneifts you or not

so according to your logic use discord, nvidia expirience, team speak, etc are third party programs for which I am cheating?
And also if I raise the brightness of my monitor manually am I cheating? I think you're wrong

Discord, team speak and nvidia experience aren't blacklisted programs, so that doesn't apply. Changing brightness on your monitor isn't a third party application and can't be detected by EAC.

Stop trying to make false equivalences. You got your answer.

And where is the list of the programs that you mention? the program only increases the saturation of the game does not increase the brightness and I saw that several streamers use it

The general rule is don't use third party applications that interact with the game or modify memory or make changes to values on the video card etc. Maybe you have something else running that did it. If you challenged the ban and they told you that you have cheats installed, then you have cheats installed, whether you think that's fair or not.

And the "but streamers use it!" excuse is BS, streamers also get caught using cheats.

This isn't something you "get caught" using, its as clear as day if you use it or don't, it doesnt give any advantage, it just changes saturation, purely aesthetical, although it is a general rule to just dont use external programs while playing, if you get banned because of something like this its just false positive, as its purely a program that facilitates changing the saturation so u dont have to enter the monitor/vcard settings everytime lol, you can enter several streams rn and some probably have different saturation just telling by the eye and thats not a reason to ban them

If it makes you feel any better, if EAC ever decides that whatever program you used was truly "innocent", the ban will be removed automatically along with everyone else banned for using that program. But, it doesn't happen very often.

Not sure if you contacted facepunch or EAC, but you can appeal here:

https://www.easy.ac/en-us/support/game/contact/appeal/

Give them as much information about the programs you're using and what they do as possible. VAC apparently doesn't ban for vibranceGUI, so maybe EAC is being too strict, but in the end they get to decide what's allowed or not.
