why is evreyone so toxic and salty in rust? and what servers have the least amount of it

im tired of joining server after server spending a few days playing on it killing ONE person thats toxic and then they come to your base with a entire clan and smash it down note: SOLO/DUO/TRIO servers dont help evreyone teams and make huge clans that dosent work out even if you report the people can someone guide me to a server that does not contain a whole lot of toxicity/salt

It's a game about waiting till your neighbours are not home and then break in and steal their stuff.
Raiding and being raided is the game so you KOS to make sure they don't get strong enough to be able to raid you. I'm not saying it's you because your just asking but you see many post from butthurt cry baby's on this forum but that's the game and if they don't like it then they need to go back to Minecraft.

I killed some kiddos with a trap base and moved all their stuff to my main instantly, and on the way back to the trap I see two fully geared (metal gear, AKs, it all) silent raid through my little trap base. It's the same guys. I jump in and they down me, get me up, and try to talk smack like "I told you we'd be back and raid your $%#^ing base dude!" They were trying to show me how big their e-weenies were lol
And I'm like, "You know this took me 10 minutes to make right? You could let me put doors back on here and you probably won't die again from it since you know where it is right?
Nope they locked it up and it took me maybe 15 minutes tops to plop another trap base (3x1 with shotguns) down in another spot. I can bet the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ will die from it again now too lmao
Imagine wasting all the sulfur to not get anything back, but just to place your own doors on a pointless base. It costs me 6 gears vs your who knows how much sulfur.

Yes, like cid said, kos and raiding are just part of the game. I wouldnt call those actions "toxic", necessarily.

The question you should be asking is whats the point of playing this game if you're solo with a life/job/family/friends and can't spare 23 hours a day on RUST with a clan?

Let me tell you how to enjoy the game. Join a high pop, high gather server and reach endgame withing a hour so you can get straight to the raiding and killing. No point wasting hours upon hours farming for the minimalist of things, Just to get it all taken away from you in seconds.

I have about 150 hours playing Rust, which is not a lot compared to other hardcore players around there. This game is brutal, it's survival of the fitest or strongest ect. Fairness is not part of Rust. When the game just came out, I played it for a few hours and just hated it. Did not try playing it again for about two years. After that I would play it now and then and leave it alone for a while. Now, I have a love and hate relationship with the game. Take all that you do in Rust as part of the game or the journey. The learning process. My bases have almost always been raided, my important loot gone, many times. So what do I do? I start in another server. Do all over again. That's the game. Remember that those players that raid you, the same has been done to them one time or another. I am for now, a solo player. We are the lone wolfs. We don't run in packs, we are tough , hard nails, that come for more. Let's face it. Belonging to a clan is easier that being a loner. That's why , many players are toxic or bullies because they have their clan to back them up. Look for a server, for a community server, that has no more than 15 players at a time. And better if the server is Solo, Duo, ect. What is bad that reporting players that break the rules, administrators don't take action. That is bad news. Anyways, try to look for servers that state that they enforce rules, maybe there bad players will get banned or kicked out of the server. That's the idea. Have fun, learn from your mistakes, and make another base in another server when necesary. Someday, you will make the right choices, and be on the top of the foodchain in that server.

To be honest, as a solo player. I kind of enjoy mid-game when the big dawgs come through and start to raid the whole server.
Removes all the road bandits that kos - even though I get raided too.

You gather loot for hours, and you die with it all. Thats why people get salty, and they spread the anger. So they KoS, grief etc.

I Agree to a certain extent. I play Solo Rust on a Chill server with on a high note maybe 40 to 50 players and average between 5 and 20. It is not high gather rate but decay has been turned off. I think it really just depends on what you want out of the game. I don't have a lot of time to play and usually join on or right after wipe. I play for a few days then eventually move on to either other games or just get busy with life. I enjoy how open the game is sure it is fun to go around raid kill and loot but i guess you could call me an RPer even though I don't really RP.

As for the toxicity it is always going to be there but i have found that the lower the pop the lower the chance for toxic players.

Or you chill out and realise its a videogame and accept you failed to react quick enough or prevent something from happening and learn from your mistakes. People who are toxic usually never learn anything and are stuck on their skill level because they are to mad to learn.
