I just had a 'weapon barrel' drop, whats better, to sell it on market or try opening it?

Its not like you gonna get a 100 bucks from it.

Old man peculiar got it right. There's a chance you can get skins more valuable than the item but only a chance. The skins market for games is like the stock market.
