Anything worth actually diving for?
Some buds and I took a boat and a couple diving suits out for the first time before last wipe and hit a few boats underwater, not gonna lie, it was a largely uneventful run loot-wise. We hit a harbor right after that on the way back and picked up way better loot than we found in any of the shipwrecks.

Anyone found diving actually worth it? Any unique loot you can find or anything? Seemed like we found a higher frequency of actual clothes articles but other than that it was quite unimpressive and not worth having to wear 4 pieces of gear, not being able to have a gun out, and having to use low grade to get there.

I dont have a huge amount of experience diving but I have several days of doing it.
The loot is a little less but as you get more experiance you learn the good spots.

You have a bit higher chance of finding laptops diving... often come back with 1 or 2 after a day diving.

You will also discover locations that dont have boonies like underwater rock piles and row boats that always spawn crates in the area.

Overall if you like to be left alone to loot it can be relaxing.

Bring two tanks.

Hey man targeting computers are always worth a run, need moar turrets! Are there any different spots other than the small / large shipwrecks? Never knew about the rocks or anything like that, I brought like 4 tanks last time just in case lol. Made the mistake of accidentally going down without having one on, started drowning in 5 seconds like my guy doesn't know how to hold his breath lol.

They dont look too special, but they are down there - keep you eyes peeled.
Last wipe I found a rock cluster way out on the map in the AA13 grid way off the main island. I was able to build a base in the middle of the ocean and loot would spawn at the base of the rocks underwater.

Also the sunken ships I find the ones sitting up right often have more loot then the ones laying o n its sides.

Underwater base?? Did you just build all the way up above the water or did you actually have a base out there? How does that work for getting back to shore if you spawn there and there's no boat? LOL sorry for all the q's I've never even considered an aquatic base before but it sounds badass.

You can build in water, but you can't place objects in water.
So you just stack wall frames to reach the surface of the water and build a boat house on the surface of the ocean.
It was so far out at sea I was worried cargo ship would run into it.

There are some rare but very tall tripod stacks of rocks you can locate while scuba diving that you can do this kind of base from.

I need to test more but an advantage you can do with a base like this is force people to need to enter the base from below and place shotgun traps aim down at them - since you can't shoot from the water they should kill them and make them loose their gear in the water.

Clearly this is not a main base it's just a fun scuba base to store your boat and drop off loot.

You can automate the boat door to open with a HBHF sensor is pretty fun and grind loot at the harbor since you have the ocean to your back and is less hostile then most other monuments.

I'm a solo player and not very good at pvp, so when steet bandits are out of control and I can't farm with out getting kos then I go scuba instead.
