Rust
Your system is low on virtual memory. ANY HELP?
Just tell you to know I'm using a ru version of windows so most of error names that you can see is just a result of my sick fantasy and wacky translation. Ask me if you didn't understand something.

my pc specs:
processor: amd fx 4100
videocard: gigabyte 1060 3 gb (last version of drivers)
ddr3 8 gb of 1333 MHz ram
ssd with os and rust
motherboard: asus m5a78l le
os: windows 10 64 bit

The main problem is when I'm joining a server I can play for like 1-2 minutes before it crashes with error "Your system is low on virtual memory"
I suspect 2 things in this problem: recent windows reinstall and rust update.
But I can't understand why it's happening since I used to play rust on stable 60 fps a few weeks ago with opened discord and even browser on the background with the same 8 gb of ram.

Check to ensure that your Windows page file is enabled and large enough. 1024MB or 2048MB should be fine.

Ok it's solved only half of the problem. It's still crashing but less. And I don't think this is ram problem since i've been playing rust for a year even with worse pc specs.

Yeah it's the game it's not your hardware I'm fairly sure. If everything else is behaving normally and there are no other problems it's obvious what the real problem is. Rust is broken.

If you're really wondering about your hardware, you could always do some diagnostics. It's a surefire way of knowing for sure. It would put your mind to rest of what the real problem is if anything. heh
Oof that RAM tho....

Sorry, but that excuse is worn and obsolete. This person has the minimal RAM requirement according to the system requirements listed on the store page. If it's not enough, the developers need to be responsible and change the game requirements on the store page.

It's time to throw out the blame game bag and start pointing fingers at the real source of the problems - the game and the developer company.

I googled this error and found out that I can disable superfetch in order to fix it. I have played for an hour and didn't get any system messages. Gonna do it more and say if it's working

Yeah disabling superfetch in your situation it may be useful with the RAM issues, but that only reinforces the logic that the system requirements for the game are not accurate. Cool you figured something out that works for you though. Hopefully it keeps working, but don't get too excited yet.

Well, you know what to do. Smash the report product button on the store page and let Valve know what you think as well as what's happening when you try to play the game.

Even with problems like this rust devs are great guys. From my steam library they are only one who're doing something new every month. And this game has the lowest new content - bugs ratio. Before just trying to get my 2$ back i'd like to report this directly to facepunch.

Great guys? I dunno, I don't appreciate being called a degenerate alongside the community by the people and company I supported and bought the game from.

Good luck reporting to them.

They called the entire community degenerates in a dev blog thinking it was funny. Not very professional at all. it's pretty disrespectful actually.
