Will a G602 wireless gaming mouse get me banned from Rust?

I want to download the software. If I have to, I'll just change mouses when needed to avoid the mouse programming ban since technically, it's not cheating then since I am not using the mouse. Games like X3 Albion Prelude generally are nice to play when you have a mouse with more buttons essentially and I don't really want to hold up my list of 300+ games for one game.

no, it should not ban you unless you bind certain scripts or macro's.

I have used both razer synapse and LGS / logitech gaming software and never have i got a warning or anything for it.

So I can bind things on the mouse, but unbind them, I should be fine?

well yeah you can bind scripts/macro's to the mouse if the software and mouse supports it..
Like repeat button clicks or something else to 1 button or lets say it like this, macro the button F and let it repeat it self every 1 sec or whatever number you want whenever you click that button you assigned it to.

That was just a example but hope you get the idea.

But by default, it will not come with any macro's, so you shouldnt need to unbind anything.

We're talking inbuilt mouse software, so supposely I can, but only if I actually install the Macros. I am not sure how EasyCheat would detect that.

Doesn't matter. If it uses a 3rd party script, you can be banned from using it.

Can you give me a link to prove this? I don't actually plan on cheating and I've been on Steam for over ten years without any form of game ban related to cheating. I also heavily invest in Rust skins, so that would be a huge blow for something I don't even fully understand. I tried googling any incidents related to this and never found anything of an official statement.

Okay. Seems liken it only applies if I use the software in game. If I don't they can't ban me.
