Why is it so hard to find stone?

Is it just me, or is it stone just really rare? Every server that I join is full of wood, but I can't find stone anyware. Help? (I've pretty new by the way)

Stone isn't hard to find. Just need to know how they look. You can find stone anywhere on the map.

not really anyway to help you notice it, but most servers have a decent amount, looking in the hills/cliffs is usually the best option

my best advice is : when you found stone what you can just pickup , look from all sides at it and remember how it looks, same with minable stone, find one and remember how it looks from every side, just know that spark spot are always at random place on minable stone/sulphur-rock/metal-ore-rock, so remember the way it looks, there is only one model of minable sto, one model of minable metal ore, one model of minable sulphur, and one each of pickable ones
