Agreed. Very practical advice for newer players that want to get far.
Once people get comfortable, greedy, hoarding mats is horrible to do.
Expect to lose everything at anytime while playing rust.
Need to setup shop and farm scrap/crates for a bit to get setup.
Best base for resource storage is not on land 🤔
Not trying to be a troll or anything... But as it stands, the game is unplayable unless you're in a big group. You'll barely be able to progress enough to really do anything.
I was also pointing out being in big groups comes with a ton of drama & non-sense.
But also here is VERY little room for samll groups of friends (1-4 players) to play this game and progress very far.... Without playing for 6-8 hours per day to grind resources/scrap. Believe me, I've seen it all: small (hidden) bases, creating alliances with bigger tribes, having just a shack (and stashes): They all end up with the 10+ tribes stomping you out and calling you a noob...
So yeah... Unless you have 10+ friends to play with who you can trust AND you have no life outside of playing this game; you will lose, every time.
