Oh my gosh are you serious? I cann't believe two years later and this is still an issue. it's been an issue on and off through the years. That's ridiculous. Nice to see this game keeps getting return bugs, repeatedly. Unreal. These developers will never learn. Nobody can help you with this. It's something the developers have to fix.

It wouldn't surprise me at all to say the least. Updates haven't gone very smoothly for the past couple years and a little better to be honest. This isn't any new news for Rust to have bugs after updates or other silly things like expliots being reintroduced. These are only some of many reasons why I stopped actively playing. So long as the community support the game without making complaint to encourage better changes, the developers have no reason to stop doing what they're doing and making the game better. Rust is still an alpha game too and isn't even complete. Welcome to Rust.

Yeah, exactly. Thta's kind of what a lot of us think too. I even gave this company another chance to prove themselves with Rust. Nothing, but the same old song and dance over and over as was in past fourteen years ago. Nothing has changed. Need a fantastic example? Go look at all the projects that got cancelled last year - all that time wasted on those that could have been poured into Rust. We won't even talk about the wasted finances either. Then go take a look at Chunks on the Steam store and read the developer description. Pay attention to dates. I think that should explain a lot to you as to why Rust is how Rust is today.

I bet if you move the camp fire it will work. Is it really close to something? The purifier might be colliding with something

Good point. It could be collision detection. That's been a problem before too.

Yeah sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. It's a conditional bug that only seems to crawl out of the wood work in certain conditions. It's not too often, but it's often enough that it needs to be addressed and fixed because this problem has existed since 2015. It's generally associated to bad programming.

It reminds me of the time Facepunch Studios claimed they couldn't fix animal AI because it was a problem on Unity's side. Surprise! Facepunch Studios flat out lied. Unity proved them wrong and the problem wasn't Unity at all. There is more than a little bad programming going on under Rust's hood. Remember, these are indie developers, have been around for fourteen years, have only produced one game (Garry's Mod - which is a bug fest I might add) and have completed no other games since 2004. Every other project hangs in limbo or doesn't get finished and cancelled.
