building high external wooden wall & gate around my base, worth it?

so im playing with 2 other friends and we got like 3 medium - small sized bases close to eachother, would it be a good idea to put a layer of high external wooden walls around them ?

Sure, but people can burn it down still, stone is more secure.

It’s good for defense. Just make sure the wall isn’t close to a hill
