Helicopter can destroy base when you aren't online?

So I left the server for a while today, and then come back and it said I had been nuked by a helicopter and I ran back to where my base used to be to find nothing. I can't find anything that says how to defend against this or how it happens, anybody able to enlighten me?

Looks like someone waited for you to log off to bring the helicopter over and raid your base. It's that or they figured they could hide there and wait out the helicopter, but it didn't work and they died in the process. I'm leaning more towards it being used to raid though.

"Helicopter now doesn't use the main rockets that damage buildings if the player it is targeting is in a building blocked zone; you can no longer raid bases using solely the Attack Helicopter.

It still uses incendiary/napalm rockets in building blocked zones still as well as it's primary gun fire."

Huh. So they would have just ran around my base while it was shooting at them and it would hit my base instead? Or would they have had to explode a side to hide inside of my base so it would shoot my base? Thank you for the reply and link btw!

Never mind, I found out that the kid who we let build beside us hid inside his house from the helicopter and it nuked our entire area. So it was because we let someone build near us and he got nuked. Thanks for the help though!

You probably got raided, I very much doubt someone cleared you’re whole base while hiding from the heli, especially in there base, if you had a t.c they wouldn’t be able to build close enough for it to effect your base. Did you have a t.c??
