how long does it take for the rust outpost to stop shooting at u

Everytime i go near outpost i get shot at i havent killed anyone for about 30 mins and just keeppps going and going any idea what i have to do for it to stop?

So i figured it out.

If u get shot by a turret it resets ur timer to 30 mins.

I wasn't killing people. I used my axe on a barrel while outside of the safezone. No weapon warning and the place is shooting at me like crazy. I wish they would just fix things in this game, make the load time not take 10min and it might actually be a game. =[

if u hit oil barrels its classed as a attack so dont do it it will start the count down

Same problem for me, it has been 24h that i cannot go to every place with scientist cause they attack me on sight with a rock in my hand... it started at the out post... but know it is everywhere !

scientists and outpost npc's arent the same....
Outpost will only attack you if you recently attacked another player or ran into the outpost with any weapons/tools in your hand.
So yeah, a rock in your hands will trigger you as hostile against it.



The blue scientists will attack you regardless off what you have, they will attack you on sight, the only difference is they will shot you at long range if you start shooting them.

This is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid. A wolf attacked me so I shot it. I was outside the safe zone. The turrets lit me up. Now i can't get my ♥♥♥♥ and lost like an hour.
