There's 2 methods of taking down the helicopter:
1. Depleting the entire HP of helicopter with body shots; the body of the helicopter has 10,000 HP.
Now, looking at the stats of the Thompson we see that it deals 37.0 damage;
10000/37
270.2 (271)
271 bullets through a Thompson will destroy the body of the helicopter.
2. The other, far better, option is to destroy both the main rotor (900 HP) and the tail rotor (500 HP). If both are destroyed then the remaining HP of the body does not matter.
500/37 + 900/37
37.83 (38)
So we see, theortetically that you can destroy a helicopter with 38 rounds from a Thompson. Realistically though, that won't happen. The Thompson is far too inaccurate and the timing would be hard to conquer - so plan accordingly.
An AK and/or M2 with explosive rounds (especially in a team setting) will melt the helicopter with body shots very quickly, which is going to be your best since you have a team on an increased gather server.
Can you tell me how much ammo with semi auto pistol ??
In theory, you can take down a helicopter with body shots (10,000 HP) with 250 bullets; and to take the helicopter down with tail rotor and main rotor shots would take 35 bullets using the semi-automatic pistol.
And Semi-Automatic Rifle ?
250 bullets for body shots,
35 bullets for tail and main rotor
Thank you for the info
With that being said though, I am unsure where weapon attachments stand on non-player entity damage.
