How do you play with stretched resolution?
I have trying for hours and I cant figure it out, everytime I change the resolution I get black bars and don't know how to stretch it. Can anyone help? (I have a AMD graphics card)

Hi,

Right click desktop > AMD Radeon Settings > Monitor > GPU Scaling > Off
And of course, change your resolution to your preferred stretch (1024 x 768) etc.

I have that off and I have scaling mode set to full panel. I made a custom resolution of 1440x1080. the problem is when I launch rust it gives me black bars and does not stretch

Make sure that Scaling Mode is set to "Preserve aspect ratio" and try again. Also make sure GPU scaling is turned off if that does not work.

I know that not all resolutions seem to work for everyone; you can try slightly lower ones too (1280, 1024, etc) and see if one of those work for you -- I know myself that I cannot use 1440 stretched.

A secondary option, which is fairly popular is using something called "Resolution Hotkey Changer". Here's a YT video for more information:
