We need a simple map editor
And i'm not talking about a map editor where you place every tree or every rock seperatly. But a simple map editor where you are able to draw what part is the snow biome, what part is the desert or forest biome etc. Draw where you want water and where you want land and draw where you want rivers and roads. You would also be able to select which monuments you want and where you want to place them.

The rest forrests and rocks etc would still be randomly generated, but it would make maps so much more awesome when you can make islands etc like this.

You can generate maps with different map sizes and seeds at http://playrust.io

Or you can choose one at: http://playrust.io/gallery

It would be an interesting idea, but I'm quite confident to say they would never create such a thing. They've been struggling with Rust for years and it's still not even complete so I can't see anything like that comming along unless someone from the mod community created it. Even so, static and procedurally generated map systems work differently. Not to say it can't be done, but I don't believe it would be practical. It would be a decent amount of work and it would need to be maintained.

You're better off just trying different seeds and picking ones that you like. It would be nice to be able to boolean toggle certain monuments if you wanted. That could definitely be done and isn't a bad idea. More control over the play experience is always a welcomed thing among server administrators and players alike.

I did not talk about how unbalanced the game is so you were 100% wrong. You are such a special child.

Yes I know about RustIO but there is no way you can decide where you want certain monuments to spawn or how much water is in the map etc.
