Rust EAC Banned for no reasson

Well I wanna start by thanking you for ruin my day. I wake up and open my PC/Steam and receive this message from steam that I am VAC BANNED by game developer of Rust(my favorite game of all time on PC) without using any programs/cheats/scripts what so ever. I never used cheats in any games and I never will. I mean I have almost 5k games on steam and level 200+, don't you think a VAC BAN will look ugly on my profile? I can't afford to cheat, I never did and I never will! I hate cheaters, I despite them!
I'm literally shacking when I'm writing this, getting banned in your favorite game without even cheating or using anything in any way, I really don't understand why....
Anyway, I hope this is just a mistake, an error from EAC, because I can't even enter in game, EAC gives me an error.
PS: Would have I invested so much in rust skins if I was cheating in any way??

This is the support ticket I submitted to Rust game developer FacePunch and EAC
from what I've noticed I'm not the only one with this problem, hope someone will notice and take actions, because it is not fair, I've invested to much time and money in this game and this really ruined my day, woke up after shift 3 and steam give me this alert that I'm banned, without even cheating or using anything that involves cheating, it's my favorite game, been playing for several years with my friends in every weekend and holidays.(and of course people that actually cheats and they obviously about it don't get banned, good anticheat, just like valve anticheat)

EDIT1: Here on this discussion I found out later that the case of my ban may be the software I've been using for my gaming mouse asus gx850. Even I didn't knew or used the macro option I've got banned for it. EAC responded after 8 days with no details of my ban and FacePunch seems that they don't care anymore about their community because there's a lot of people with the same problem(asus, logitech, razer, steelsseries mouses all have a similar software and it's not fair for people to be banned for just having those installed).

EDIT2: I blame FacePunch the most because they could make us read and accept TOS again after they took this decision back in february this year or they could warn us before enter in game that this kind of software is not allowed(to be even installed in your PC) on EAC protected servers.
But I also blame EAC for this situation(beside that they are poor on communication like no other company) they could had their anti-cheat system improved in order to check if indeed I used or not macro, not just simple auto-ban me for having the software installed.
Why they don't ban me in other games too(that uses the same anti-cheat system)? Maybe because it was FacePunch decision to ban this instead of helping the community in a better way and avoiding this stupid situation in which there are a lot of people, they could made it in a way that you couldn't join EAC protected servers with this kind of software installed in your PC(because there are a lot of different people that are not guilty and they got unfair ban). But not with all kinds of softwares or cheats because that's no point of having an anti-cheat system in the first place, only those softwares used for gaming mouses(because you don't buy a fancy expensive mouse and not installing his software to be able to use all his features like switching lights, key rebounding and other stuff)

PS: Everyone that's in the same situation please try contact steam support and tell them your story, for me it helped!(even if they have nothing to do with this)

This sort of thing has happened to people I know as well. You are by far not alone. False bans are and have been common place in this game for way too long and to see it persisting after exit from Early Access is really pretty shameful. There have been false ban waves several times too with this game.

It's most unfrotunate you became part of the false bans club - screwed out of a game you did absolutely nothing wrong in. Don't expect much help because in more than 3/4 of the cases I've witnessed people get these sorts of bans, the bans were not lifted. People skew abuse reports too.

All I can tell you is spend your money wisely.

Same happen to me and my friend we lost more then 100€ in skins wtf i have 1.5k hr why woud i hacks like wtf i liked the game

Happy for the first part and literally breathe easily for a second, but when I read the second part. WHAT? Are you serious, but that's no fair! Why people that never uses cheats gets banned for no reason and cheaters gets free pass? Why those people that didn't used cheats not get their EAC ban revoked?
I really hope someone important will notice this and come with a solution or something because I already started loosing fate in all of this, especially when they will probably not even look on the support ticket I submitted when they always say they have 0 tolerance for something like this, even if it was 100% their fault and their weak anticheat.

I know. I understand your frustration without question. I know, it's wrong. When people continually support this sort of business model and consumer standards practice things are slow to change if at all. If they respond you will likely get no for an answer and that will be that. I hope you don't get no for an answer, but I'm just preparing you for the worst. The likelihood of them reversing the ban is slim.

Vac is for csgo i got banned when i sold my acc and he hack and i got vac like wtf they coud check ip but noo banned me ass well

If you sold the account, then why do you still have It? The vac only shows on the account it was given to. Am I missing something here?

well if they hacked with your account there's no reason to check ip, and also it is known that every account that log in from a banned user pc will get banned too, do not give your account to stranger people

They didnt play on my acc other acc got banned that i used and i got vac here ass well

I was bouth 10 accs boosted them to lem or suprime and sell them but guy who bought acc hack and i got vac on all off my accs

I wish I could give you a better and more positive answer and solution, but alas it is all out of my control. As I always say, spend your money wisely and support what is right rather than what is wrong in the video game industry.
