People building into my home without build permissions.

I was building solo, playing on Rusty moose, it seems even with a tool crate people can still seemingly build around my base, some guy killed me, then built into my build zone, not sure how this happens or what is going on, tho I know he isn't on the build permissions list.

I asked the guy why he could do what he did, said you can build twig onto inside the no build areas.... I removed the game for now, I might return later if they change it back so no one can build around your base unless givin permissions and etc.

As soon as u said tool crate I knew u must be a noob..... try reading previous dev blogs to get up to date with how rust is these days, u will learn a lot

And the devs will not be removing this function, it’s great for raiding, u just got to build smart

I love commenters like you guys, your parents must be so proud, I knew people like you would show up and flame me, also no I am not a new player, it is just stupid how they made this change, sure I could build better, tho people will still find a way to build into my base.

Also you should try to come up with a not so over used comment, copy pasting isn't orignal.

They can build twig floors only now days. Pretty sure... Just helps climb a person's base. Shouldn't be a big deal. It was much worse before. For awhile they could build any twig they wanted anywhere

what most players don't understand is, you can't build a base which is unraidable. But you surely can make it hard to raid. Only you have to learn from your own mistakes.
So it isn't Rust that has a problem!

Hey Zane! So currently, the setup is that players are able to build Twig ceilings on your structure as well as place ladders. Besides those two items, nothing else can be placed. Since this is currently part of the raid meta, something like this always has the possibility to change, but don't expect it to change soon.

If you are looking for any building tips or general ideas for base building, look up KCmoTV on youtube. He does quite a few base builds and shares tips with newer players on how to construct proper bases and protect your loot.

yep this updates were you can build ladders and ceilings is terrible sucks for sure any moron can raid now, i think it was too hard before this update for some of them

hmm... so this is what the community in this game is like. Guess I will just idle it for a couple of hours for the cards, and then uninstall it again. Glad I looked into the forum.

Probably for the best. Ppl that use forums to decide what to play aren't suited for rust.
