Rust

Rust, Zerging And You, how it effects Low pop servers.
First: What is a Zerg? Zergs are a group of people, a group of 8 or more people, playing together on a server.
Now, that sounds alright and fine with everybody on the surface.
But..What if the zerg was a 15 group on a Low Pop/Medium Pop? Thats where it becomes an issue.
How is it an issue? Well, let look at it this way.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You and 4 friends join a 150 slot server, doesnt go past 90 on a high day.
Mainly it sticks around 45-60
WIPE DAY:
So.
You: Farm trees.
Friend #1: Farm Nodes.
Friend #2: Farm Town.
Friend #3: Build base.
Now, for a normal small group, 3-6 would take you a couple days on wipe to get good gear and stone base.
So, While the 4 man group is building, the 15 man zerg is already raiding on the 3rd day.
The zerg offline raids, takes over smaller groups and making people become discourged, and end up quitting the server.
Your 4 man clan gets seen around the base by 2 of the Zerg members, they report it back to their team and they head out.
Your team logs off for the night, before the zerg gets ready to raid, they check the player list, Low Number players mean less of a chance of those players trying to counter the raid.
So, Your group gets off, other players do. The Zerg leaves their compound and run to your base.
25-30 minutes later, Your base is raided, grifed, TC destroyed and changed, and new doors.
Your total time on the server: Half a week.
4 Man group gives up and leaves server.
Trend continues After the next 2 wipes.
150 Slot server with 50 people drops to 10.
Server dies.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Not only do the Zergs take over good rad town loot, they also take down every 3 out of 4 choppers, and 2 out of 4 bradleys.
They also trash talk none stop. and continue to spam the forums none stop to get players to join.
They use low pop servers as a way to see if new members will backstab them before they join a high pop.
Now, that effects low pop players cause a new player cannot seem to get good blueprints because by the time they farm, build a base and get atleast a couple sars and ammo, they will already have gotten either jumped or raided.

I'm not salty about it, its how rust is, always has been since Legacy,
I just think server Admins/Owners should check on how the Zerg on their server effects the players, Big zergs push people away from the server and makes people feel discourged by the sheer numbers and firepower.

Remeber: Just cause the Zerg is big, doesnt mean they are good. Just using their numbers to defeat lower clans to make themselves look good for their new members.
Most Zerg members are toxic players who trash talks after they finish a offline raid or killing a naked with AKs or a new group starting out with roadsign armor and SARs.
