Rust keeps crashing randomly - No error message

Hi all!



Me and my buddies recently picked up the game again, and my game keeps crashing. It hasn't done this before in the past, and I've never had a problem.



The game will crash at random times. Sometimes when loading in, sometimes in the middle of the game. Sometimes my game will actually freeze for a little bit (I can still hear audio) then it crashes. No other games crash when I play.



Here are my specs:

I7-6800K

Geforce GTX 1080

32gb ram

1TB HDD(Data and other random stuff)

1TB SSD (What I put my games on)

256GB SSD (For my OS)



I've re-installed the game, verified integrity files and checked drivers. Disabled Anti Virus. All still with no luck



Any help would be appreciated. Would help if there was an error code.

Lots of people having this problem right now after the update, they are gonna send out a hotfix soon

i just keep crashing on "Opening Scene" when loading into any server

i downloaded rust staging branch which let me jopin a server but the console shows world cache mismatch and rocks and stuff are not correct position. hopefully they fix the crashing in the non staging version

Yeah that sucks because facepunch is in a bad state of mind right now. They probably will never fix their ♥♥♥♥ anytime soon and this specific bug has stopped hundreds from actually playing the game. All you can do at this point is wait until they fix this. Could be next month, could be next year. Who knows

I had posted to reddit and this was a response somebody had given. My virtual memory was below the recommended amount, so hopefully that fixed it.
