Does anyone have the fix for the gun reload bug/glitch?

can't reload any weapons on any servers. Rust shows the reload animation, so its registering that I want to reload, but after its finished the bullets in the gun still amount to 0. Fire the gun "click". I can give any gun to a friend and they can reload it, give it back to me, I empty the magazine/fire the gun until its empty and then I still can't reload it.

Same here, the strange thing is, i can reload AK but i could reload Pump action rifle and 12 gage, later when i died i took several guns from my chest and none wanted to reload. Verify rust files didnt help. Reseting computer doesnt help, maybe reinstaling rust, but i didnt try it. Sometimes i can reload sometimes not. So i guess its game related, not my computer/software related.

Same problem for me, I cannot reload any gun! I had a ping of 108/120 ... I even tried to disable fast windows startup (cuz somebody said he solved it like that), but nothing!
People say is the internet connection but how can it be? So stupid.

It's either your internet, the server, or your PC. If your framerate is ridiculously low (less than 20) then you might get this or other bugs such as slower than normal movement.

Something that worked for other people is looking up at the sky and then reloading. If this makes it better then the problem is 100% your PC being too weak to run the game.

If your framerate is extremely low, no. That would mean you're far below the minimum requirements to run the game.

Sounds strange, but try looking up at the sky when reloading. Worst case, does nothing, best, case, reloads.

2023, still an issue. definitely not the pc being underspec, as i have a 5800x and a 3070ti. only like 60-80 ping so like... wtf

Same problem here. NASA PC here and frame rate it’s uber perfect. And does not reload. Tough developers got this solved after thousands years this game is out….

make a video . I got a $7k pc and I have no issues .
