why do people take off the weapon flashlight during daytime

I see skilled players often during a fight take the time to take the weapon flashlight off of from example an ak. Why? Can't you just not press F to turn it on if it bothers you? They actually take the risk to go into their inventory mid fight to take the flashlight off. I never understood this. Can anyone explain?

Most people/skilled players have the auto bind key to turn the flashlight on or laser on when they right click to aim, during the day you dont want that so i and many others take it off.
