Taking over a decaying base
If you come across a decaying base and then authorize yourself to build there and repair walls and stock the tc how do i opn any other doors already in place? Do i have to smash them to get building acces and unlock them.

yeah, you have to destroy the locked doors to be able to place your own door. Only if they are locked that is

If you get a base with locked doors, block off access to them and treat them like walls.

need explosives to destroy metal and HQM doors
Wood doors can be destroyed with shotguns, 9 swords, and many other things.
