Terrible rubberbanding / packet loss
Hi guys. As you see at the title, I facing terrible lags which keep teleporting me bac every minute. Its making make literally unplayable. My internet connection speed is true 100mbit/sec, ping to all servers I tried was under 20-50ms. I have lags on any server. My PC conected via LAN straigt to the router. I tested also packet loss with WinMTR and command line - packet loss is under 1% which is normal. My PC specs is i7 8700k, 16GB RAM, GTX 1080ti, game installed on SSD, so its can't be performance lags. I checked also Rust console to see packet loss, it's keep on 0% but spikes to 25-50% every minute. My friends don't have this issue. I also called my ISP, they didn't noticed any packetloss and said they need some time to understand what's this lags can be. I noticed some rubberbanding in PUBG and TF2 too, but they not so often and way less frequent. Other games like BF1, BF4, The Division, Borderlands 2, Rocket League don't have any rubber banding at all. Any ideas?

P.S: Sorry for my poor spelling. Any advices except calling ISP or uninstall game? Thanks

It’s the game downloading workshop skins in the background

Only real way to fix it is to turn downloads off

Go to steam, settings, downloads, and limit the downloads to only download when your not on like 5 am to 6 am or something

Is this the only culprit I tried this and personally still experience 100% packetloss 100% of the time, every other game works fine.

Internet or just frame drop?

Did router change help to fix the problem?

Yeah! So if you are experiencing this problem try switching routers if that option is viable, also maybe switching channels like 5ghz and 2.4ghz. Hopefully it can help you.
