New Base Building...

So... Since the update that requires Stone, Wood, Metal and Hhigh Quality to deny the Decay me and my friend are getting trouble to build a good base. We can't do Honey Comb, maybe just one layer, but as the Shadowfrax told "Base needs to be smart, not big".

We did try some bases design, but all of that it's easly raidable with a few Rockets or some C4. We did think about to build more than one base, each base would storage stuff enought to defend all in the same area and we could storage different kind of items, if someone raid us, we would raid only a certain category of items.

Even so we didn't find a good solution to our base, we build in a way that has some traps and decoys to enemy fall for, waste resources, but at the end, we can't protect our base enought to avoid being raided...

-> With "avoid" I mean people see our base and wonder if it's worth to raid based in how much resource he would use and how much he would get. In Rust Language, "small base = few low level items" meaning "tons of small bases" = "tons of few low level items" and those kind of thing...

How did you solve the Honey Comb VS Decay issue?

Hard to get in AND out. Honestly, cave bases or rock bases are nice because they hard to find and also easy to defend

Pretty soon you'll be able to build on islands that you can only reach by boat. So for now, live in the bushes and bury your items lol Or there is always the ice bergs.

We found a good base, people will need 16 C4 to get in and we don't use around 2k Metal Frag, 1k Wood, 2k Stone and 70 HQM each day. That's a good amount, it's fine.
