Many people seemed to have problem with this one so hopefully this helps

1. Run EasyAntiCheat_setup.exe as an administrator
2. Install, uninstall and install EAC for rust
3. Verfiy Steam cache for Rust
4. Run RustClient.exe as an administrator

You can also enable running as admin for RustClient.exe from properties to make it

Or.........

1.Go to library
2.right click on Rust
3.choose properties
4.go to local files in properties
5.choose verify integrity of game files
Just follow these steps.

Should fix

All these trolls saying u get banned for cheating lol. Anyway it happened to me all you have to do is click on ur windows logo and type this in
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Rust
Once you do that click on it and then look for a file named RustClient.exe. Right click and choose to run as administrator. I did this and now it stopped disconnecting me.

Ubuntu here - It was working when I had a consistent 10 fps - I rebooted Rust at 640x480 and suddenly I'm getting the EAC violation when trying to load into servers.

I also use Ubuntu but I just restarted the computer and now works.
