Hydra can not be defined in simple terms as ‘just another clan’ Hydra is an idea, the aspiration and notion of an elite professional unit, or being. The Hydra according to ancient belief is a nine-headed dragon and who, upon loosing one of its heads to a blade, will grow two more to replace it. It is from this belief that Hydra has established five pillars of what a hydra member should have:

*Honesty
*Courage
*Respect
*Comradeship
*Determination to succeed
*Activity
*Flexability
*Consideration and;
*Diligent

Where is HYDRA

Hydra is a clan based in Australia, but open to a variety of nationalities. Provided the person can speak and understand English to an advanced level. Currently Hydra is made up of two leaders and three members. Hydra members will be devised using a ranking system which is as follows;

Leader - Hydra has two leaders, this is to ensure that if one of the leaders is away, the other can deal with issues that may arise.

Officer - a person of whom is trusted by both leaders and of whom has shown and proved in their ability to follow the 5 pillars. An officer must have been with the clan longer than 4 months. This person is able to recruit personnel from the community into the clan as recruits.

Member - a member of Hydra is a trusted ally and will be relied upon for defence, building, gathering, raiding, mining and leading new recruits. Members are able to recruit members from the community, however, require the assistance or aid of either a leader or officer to accept.

Recruit - A new member of Hydra, personnel of this rank will be used mostly for farming and gathering - this rank will be two weeks in duration during which the recruit will be guided by the clan to ensure they are ready to take on a more permanent role. To ensure there is no issues in the recruitment process any person unable to meet all five pillars or is otherwise believed to not be compatible in Hydra they will be removed from hydra - if this happens the person is then allowed to return and try again.

HYDRA'S server usage

Hydra will rotate on a monthly basis between modded and vanilla servers of both high and low population (depending on the activity in the clan). However, votes can be held each month to get the opinion of the clan - majority rules. These votes will take place over our discord channel.

Requirements

-15 years+
-Speak and understand English
-Have Discord
-Have a working and good quality microphone
-200+ hours on Rust
-Be willing and able to spend time online building clan bases and communicating with the clan
-Be able to or willing to join and play on predominantly Australian-hosted servers
