Cant install rust on SSD [not enough space]
I had to reinstall rust because I was getting DISK WRITE ERROR and i read that you have to reinstall the game. But now it wont let me reinstall because no space even though i have 57gb free space and the game isnt bigger than 7gb. WHYY i had it there before what do i do!?!?

try to delete it completly, then redownload

When you update Rust, Steam uses some sort of "cache" where it would need to kinda back up the whole game before updating, which means you'll need double the size your Rust folder currently is PLUS the update size on your disk.

p/s: I had the same problem and I googled a lot but couldn't figure out how to change this stupid Steam download cache path so I gave up and moved Rust into my other drives.

if not, check some tutorial on youtube, how to change HD/SDD directory. delete a game and do like in tutorial. have fun ;]
